God Slaying Weapons
[The Smith] [The Godhunter] [Sacred Weapons] The Smith, who forged weapons that slew the Primordials, had built an arsenal of weapons capable of slaying deities after spending generations in his forge. The Godhunter seeking weapons to take down the other deities sought out his forge and slew him with his own creation.
This is proposed as the original slight between dwarfs and elves, that has created much tension through the ages. Given the smith is depicted most often as a dwarf and the Godhunter as an elf.
Some scholars believe the incident was between a mortal dwarf and elf that had been woven into legend over the years as it was retold to explain the grudge.
[The Inheritors][The Primordials][Sacred Weapons] The Inheritors needed weapons capable of slaying the Primordials in order to conquer their domains and gain control of the universe. They worked together to distract the Primordials, while they collected materials in the elemental spheres. Then for each element they crafted a weapon to use against the Primordial of the opposing element. These weapons drained the power of the Primordial they were used against so that they could be defeated.
Rumours of weapons made of the four basic elements that could destroy cities and change form have can be found across the world. Whether these are the very same weapons, splinters, replicas, or mere myths of the very weapons used to defeat the Primordials is unknown.
[The Goddess][The Inheritors][The Primordials][Sacred Weapons] In order to overthrow the tyrannical Primordials the Goddess gifted the Inheritors with weapons capable of slaying the beings of chaos.
[The Seaborn][The Godhunter][Continents] The last god to attempt to fully manifest in the mortal realm was the Seaborn in defiance to the Godhunter. Their battle was legendary, splitting land masses and spewing water across dry lands. In the end the Godhunter was victorious and no deity has attempted to fully manifest since.
Some scholars believe the battle between the Huntress and the Stormborn was actually a religious war between two cults worshiping different aspects of the same deity. The two aspects being that of the Tempest and the Stormborn, with the followers of the Tempest winning the conflict. They suspect this tragedy to be the reason the Inheritors made their monikers understandable across languages and dialects so that it would not reoccur.
[The Primordials][Continents] During the creation of the world. Solaris provided heat in the core to warm the world. ??? crafted the shell to live on top off. Lunaris split the shell and provided the waters to survive. Stellaris wrapped the world with the havens to keep it all together. Continents were created by the Earth and the Water primordial created the continents
[The Goddess][Continents] In order to protect her children the Goddess split the primary continent away, so that there would be seas between them and the dangerous neighbours.
